OUR STORY
Two church families.
One shared hope.
Restoring Hope Community Church of the Nazarene grew from two church families with a shared desire to see people encounter the hope and transforming grace of Jesus Christ.
Hope Community Church · 2003
Founded by Brian Shaw, Hope Community Church began with a heart for families in Surprise. The church first met in a school before moving into its own building in 2005.
Restoration Nazarene Church · 2020
Founded by Cody Abrahamson during the COVID-19 pandemic, Restoration Nazarene Church also began in a school, with a passion for prayer, discipleship, and reaching young families.
Restoring Hope · 2024
In January 2024, the two congregations united as Restoring Hope Community Church. Today, we continue that shared mission through worship, discipleship, outreach, and authentic community.
